A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is submitted to the outside provider that operates that result service. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message and use it to respond.

Like most websites, our hosting may record routine logs such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. We review this in aggregate for reliability and audience measurement. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
We use limited technical data to run the service, correct faults, measure overall traffic, and improve reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.

Plymouth County and Massachusetts resources, library collections, archives, and search providers linked here operate under their own policies. Their terms and privacy practices apply to information entered on those services, including sponsored-result tools, rather than this policy.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers may process the routine logs described above on our behalf. Analytics or advertising partners may receive automatic technical information. We disclose information only when required by valid legal process or otherwise permitted by law.
Safeguards and Retention
The reference uses an encrypted connection, and routine logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. Because there are no user accounts, we do not keep account passwords or user profiles.
Visitors Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Information Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to ask about personal data a website keeps. Because this reference retains very little, a request normally concerns the contact mailbox or routine logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Government records are outside our control: Massachusetts Public Records Law, M.G.L. c. 66 §10, together with M.G.L. c.4 §7 cl.26 and 950 CMR 32, governs access requests to public custodians. The research did not verify an enacted Massachusetts general data-broker deletion statute, so requests about an official record must go to its custodian.
